 Tree

Trees have been considered more than only a typical “plant” in the eye of human being in all eras and a narrator of being sacred and manifestation of life in ancient myth of Iran. Trees have  been interwoven tightly with the  concepts such as birth, life, death, resurrection and eternal life, its mythical appearance has found a holy place since past as an ancient paradigm.

Nature and its elements have always been my mental concerns to create my works. The current Exhibition is the c is the harvest of a two-year theoretical and practical effort of mine about this concept “Tree”

Firmness and liveliness of this element of nature, its different shapes and symbolic concepts have created a distinctive abstract expression of colors and forms in my mind. The colors and forms which are the representation of dynamism and strength of each single tree.

My trees, although are showed to the point of abstraction progressing but they do not destroyed since trees have strong root in the in depth of ground while soaring toward the sky. They are creating they dies. Ceramic, soil, color and texture have been used as my tools to make these mentalities visible.

In my view, the birth of human by tree and vice versa is a universal myth which is continuous till to the contemporary era. Nowadays, the roots of trees are fed by the blood of numerous innocent people who are killed throughout the world. Humans return to the womb of universe one more time to be an origin again.

Trees have a role in the layers of human `s life. If trees did not exist, there would not be any more fresh air for the existence of creatures and humans.

What if trees do not exist anymore, what will be happen to us ?
